youngsiwalker and nmgolfer,
Thanks for the welcome.
I am sorry that 3jack had to ban me for being so relentlessly argumentative. However, I sincerely believe that I didn't indulge in unnecessary ad hominem attacks, and my overly frequent posts were always focused on golf swing mechanics/biomechanics. I don't plan to change my behaviour - so if forum members don't want to be bombarded by my frequent posts, then they are always free to ignore (not read) my posts. I may moderate the frequency of my posts if forum members think that I am being too over-bearing, but I will not moderate my uncensored critiquing of any forum member's opinion re: golf swing mechanics/biomechanics.
Jeff.

Thanks for the board and welcome Rand/Randy Jeff, don't be sorry, you are im-'perfect' the way you are. All people who think critically and question the zeitgiest are lightning rods for criticizim and attack; they threw Galileo in a dungeon. People don't change and there is no need for you (or anyone else for that matter) to even try. 'I am what I am and thats all I am' -Popeye the Sailor man Glad to have you on board and let me know if you have questions, comments and suggestions. Rand

Just wanted to say Hello. Jeff and I communicate by email as well, so I am just saying hello to everyone and looking forward to a healthy exchange of ideas. I am glad to see that Richie has joined as well. I think the world of his forum and hope that this one will prove every bit as good. With that in mind, I especially want to thank Rand for making the commitment I know this will take to insure its success. If I can help in any plausible way, let me know

Yes, I agree. Please do not be sorry for what transpired on my forum. In fact, I look at it like a learning experience for many of us involved. I have no doubt that there were people who did not know about Jeff until my forum and like what Jeff had to say about the golf swing and have now followed him over here.
I have no hard feelings or ill will. I wish I would've been more explicit from the get go as to what I wanted to see the forum look like. I should've projected the possible issues better.

I am still fond of 3jack despite being banned from his forum. He had a different goal for his forum, and the "quality" of my posts obviously antagonized many forum members, which he obviously didn't like.
That's why I am happy that Rand has created this "open" golf forum.
Rand has stated to me that there will be no debate standards in this forum - even if an individual poster antagonizes another forum member by criticising his thinking/reasoning/opinions/attitude. That fact also applies to me - no forum member will ever be banned from this forum simply because they criticise my thinking, or my attitude. As Rand has implied, the only reason why a forum member will be banned is if he indulges in outrageous 'ad hominem' attacks - and that implication is derived from this Rand statement: "This forum is NOT restricted in any way except for foul language and death threats...only kidding!"
I think that this "lack of debate standards" is unique - it would never happen in BM's or LB's golf forum.
Jeff.

I am glad to see Imperfect Golfer here.
His You Tube, Perfect Golf Swing Review and Ustream sites have been really helpful for me personally.
Only started playing as an adult, but I believe his help has prevented me from developing some bad habits and helped me to improve when I thought I could not. It is really encouraging to finally see some results, and makes the game more fun to understand it better and play better.
Don't think I know enough to contribute substantively to this forum, and not sure I even know enough to ask intelligent questions, but will read and learn and apply as I can. This all seems very complicated at times, but I will keep trying.
So I would really like to thank Imperfect Golfer for his help, and anticipate learning more from him and others here on this forum.
With appreciation,
Chaviva

Seasons Greetings. I really enjoy both richie3jack's and Jeff's websites. I think they are examples of the web at its best. I have learned a lot from their sites and I am looking forward to learning more.
