Bullet You wrote-: "science is fine , but human biomechanics is a field of opinions , just watch the expert biomechanics swing the golf club.. how can you be an expert if you can't do." A scientific "expert" in the field of human biomechanics does not also have to be a subject in his scientific experiment. He only has to use rigorous standards with respect to the design of his experimental study, its methodological process, and also with respect to the interpretation of the study's results. Steve Nesbit and Rob Neal perform scientific research with respect to the golf swing. They don't even have to be golfers for their research work to be valid/useful. Jeff. Fair enough Jeff , guess they better include the brain in all this study , because if they can't get the biomechanics to actually happen in a case study ..... then one must consider if the study is actually significant in terms of who/ what and under what pressure were the "biomechanics" performed and whether thats really optimal And the problem for these science chaps is that in the real world and not some internet world......... average joe wants to know what the tour players are doing , not some random project by unknown people that are in reality a drop in the ocean..... now if you get someone like Tiger or Phil to endorse a project.... different story

Bullet,
Golf researchers use a variety of golfers in their studies - from high handicap beginner golfers => very low handicap amateurs => professional golfers. However, as I stated previously, a golf researcher doesn't have to be a golfer. However, it would be very helpful if he had a great functional knowledge of golf mechanics/biomechanics, so that he could selectively use hitters, or swingers, for his experimental subjects - dependent on the purpose of his research study. Unfortunately, many golf researchers do not understand TGM mechanics, and therefore they pick a variety of golfers for their research study that include an uncontrolled mixture of hitters and swingers and swing-hitters, and that "uncontrolled mixture" can be a confounding variable in their study's design.
Jeff.

Jeff ,
The latest is pure swinging is down to 65% with regard to power, thats 15 to 20% drop in a few months, soon it may be down to 40%... do you think these the gsed tags were found in a cereal box?

Bullet,
Brian has simply invented this 65% value for swinging.
Sasho MacKenzie can generate a clubhead speed of 95mph using his lead arm-only swing, and 110mph using his two-armed swing. That's a <20% difference - and that's not even comparing a two-armed swinger's action to a two-armed swing-hitter's action (where the difference will be smaller).
Jeff.

That assumes (lead) one armed swings are "pure swinging". And the definition of pure swinging and who is doing the defining and how they came to that definition.
