if you dont role your forearm on the backswing then face is still square to the swing arc, no ? I don't think one can make a blanket statement that it is or is not square, what if a player has different grip styles of strong versus weak, the amount of shoulder inclination is also going to affect how that face moves in my opinion.

Joe,
You wrote-: "jeff, let me put it this way. i do not actively rotate my forearm on the downswing."
I can readily understand that point. I think that it should happen naturally/automatically as a result of the right forearm's paddlewheeling action.
Jeff.

my boy, another good statement from you. although, with a strong grip i think there is just less rotation. that is why one has to figure out how they want to grip the club. strong, weak, or neutral.

Denny told me my grip is still too weak by MORAD standards, I know Geoff likes a stronger grip as well.

i made my left stronger and my right weaker. with slicefixer, all grips are placed the same on the club. then you adjust to strength or weakness as needed. you do not change the grip that he shows you. only the position on the club. hope that is clear. i see very few good grips on the range. trust denny. it feels horrible when you start. they say the hardest thing to change in a golfswing is the grip. so for now.............grip it..............correctly, for you................and rip it.
