Dr Mann
I know your work is more involved with the full swing but I have been confused by some instruction on how to grip the club for bunker shots . This was suggested by Pete Cowen below and has also been advocated by some other instructors,
I don't understand the logic of this butterfly grip and how it can free up wrist movement and make the clubface less likely to 'close over' through impact.
Why not just open the clubface first and then use a neutral grip (and use the lead shoulder complex for vertical hinging hand release)?

DG,
I also do not understand why they recommend a butterfly grip. I can understand why it is useful to have a strong left hand grip, but I cannot understand why they recommend a weak right hand grip.
