Dr Mann
What is your opinion regarding Nick Clearwater's idea about increasing trail knee extension from P6-P9? He claims that it helps golfers rotate their upper and lower bodies through impact , which also allows the arms/grip to move through impact more quicky . This prevents the club from overtaking the wrists/hands too quickly from a rotational perspective , decreasing the ROC.
I am assuming by having the arms/grip move more quickly through impact , it reduces any 'lead forearm supination per unit degree of distance travelled' and that will also reduce HTV (Handle Twist Velocity) and therefore ROC.
The 3D optical system , definitely shows that the ROC did reduce and it looks very similar to a Drive-Holding position post impact.

DG NC's opinion that having the trail knee more extended through impact is more conducive to a DH-hand release action makes no sense to me. Consider the following DHers who have a very active pelvic rotation through impact and who are capable of efficiently performing a DH-hand release action - despite having a lot of trail knee flex. Cameron Champ
Note that he has lot of trail knee flex at P7 (image 1) and P7.5 (image 3).
Will Zalatoris
Note that he has a lot of trail knee flex at P7 (image 1) and at P7.7 (image 3).
Colin Morikawa
Note that he has a lot of trail knee flex at P7 (image 3) and even at P8.5 (image 4).
Dustin Johnson
Note that he has a lot of trail knee flex at P7 (image 1) and at P7.4 (image 2)
Jamie Sadlowski
