See this research paper. johngrahamgolf.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Chris-Como-Published-paper.pdfI think that their conclusions are both sound and self-evident. Anybody who studies the golf swing seriously knows that the Haney and Hardy models were ridiculous and that there is no correlation between the planar motions of the club/sweetspot and different body parts eg. right shoulder or right elbow. Also, it is not surprising that an individual golfer will be able to generate a consistent FSP and consistent planar motions of different body parts - one can readily see it happening on swing videos. There is nothing in this research article that could not be predicted - based on a study of golf swing videos. Jeff.
