See this BM-forum thread - www.brianmanzella.com/golfing-discussions/17825-what-kind-release-can-effective-swing-include-no-deceleration-34.htmlBM made the following claim in post #337 -: " For instance, everyone knows now that the science in TGM is baloney. Everyone claims the D-Plane for their own, after I took fired all the missiles and took all the grenades, almost everyone now knows that forces and torques can be seen, etc. etc." BM wrong-headedly claims that forces/torques can be seen. I that that's a BS claim! Forces/torques can be inferred - which is a mental phenomenon and not a visual phenomenon. However, an inference is not proof. One still has to prove one's inferences. Consider an example. Here is BM's analysis of Lexi Thompson's downswing action - vimeo.com/34442274BM claims that Lexi is applying a positive torque by using a push-force applied by the right arm/hand to the club below the coupling point in order to manually induce the club to release during phase two of her downswing. Here are capture images of phase 2 of Lexi's downswing action. How can it be possible to visually see Lexi applying a positive torque with her right arm/hand? BM is applying a mental/interpretative inference with respect to Lexi's downswing action - which he still has to prove to be factually correct. BM has never supplied any proof that any PGA golfer (who is a swinger) is applying a positive force/torque to the club below the coupling point during the club release action. Jeff.
