Consider this Jeffy forum thread. richie3jack.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generalgolf&action=display&thread=4071Look at Jeffy's analysis in post #2. How does Greg learn "something" useful re: golf swing execution from the TM readings? The TM clubface reading is 3.4 degrees open. However, TM didn't know that it was a toe hit, and the center of the clubface was apparently 4 degrees more closed than that TM reading, which presumably means that it was actually 0.6 degrees closed at impact. So, if Greg didn't know the degree of off-center toe hit, he would be presuming that his clubface was too open at impact when it was actually close to zero. Now, if Greg used impact powder and noted the degree of toe-hit, he would realize that his CF was not really too open at impact, but that he actually had a major degree of off-center hit. So, how would Greg know what caused the swing problem that produced an off-center strike from a biomechanical/mechanical perspective - so that he could learn what he needs to do differently (from a biomechanical perspective) in his next swing action? Jeff.
