Dr Mann I was looking at this video by AMG and they mention pros centres of chest and pelvis that moves laterally away from target during the backswing but where the chest recentres by P4 (ie. during the transition phase). I think they are inferring that it's a lateral move of both pelvis/torso towards target by P4 , but I'm wondering whether the 'arch-extension of the spine' can cause that 'sway' measurement? If the thorax is aligned more in the sagittal plane approaching P4 , won't an arch-extension of the spine shift the thorax sensor targetward? I'm also finding it difficult to understand what they mean by pros creating width and clubhead speed by moving both their chest and pelvis targetward as the downswing progresses. Does it make any sense to you? www.facebook.com/reel/394809012910791DG

However, I know from previous AMG videos that when the AMG instructors refer to their re-centering move that they want the pelvis and upper torso to recenter together in a left-lateral shift manner, and they do not infer that the golfer is performing an arch-extension maneuver during the transition that would cause the upper swing center to move more targetwards than the lower swing center. Jeff. That's strange because I can access the link. A pop-up message saying 'See More On Facebook' appears asking for login details , but if you just click on the top right hand X to close the message , the video can be seen. DG
