Consider ML's latest video.
In this video, Milo Lines does an experiment to determine which release pattern results in the fastest clubhead speed when he is using an iron (of unknown loft).
He claims to be testing 4 different patterns, but his casting pattern is really equivalent to an early release pattern and Milo does not clearly differentiate between the two early release patterns, which have an early release of PA#2 in common. I think that he is really testing an early release of PA#2 pattern versus a delayed PA#2 release pattern. Regarding his delayed PA#2 release pattern, he performs two variations - i) one where he releases PA#2 naturally according to the natural PA#2 release forces that happen during an elite pro golfer's pivot-induced release of PA#4 => release of PA#2 pattern (= pivot-induced TGM swinging action) and ii) a variation where he "feels" like he is resisting the release of PA#2 by "feeling like he is holding the release angle for longer".
ML normally performs an elite quality level of a pro golfer's pivot-induced TGM swinging action type of full golf swing action and it will obviously result in his maximum clubhead speed - compared to an artificial early release pattern or an artificial "feel of holding the release angle" pattern.
This golf instructional has no educational value because it is very self-evident that a pivot-induced TGM swinging action (as performed by Milo Lines and most pro golfers) is the optimum way to sequentially release PA#4 => PA#2 and that it makes no sense to try to artificially release PA#2 early or artificially try to hold-off the release of PA#2.
