See this BM forum thread.

BM states-"Not all teachers have that kinds of "design" talent. And some of the folks who might have it, don't know if they do, because they are method teachers. Or they are spending—or maybe it's wasting—too much time trying to retro-fit junk science."
That's complete nonsense - the idea of "design talent"!!!!
There is a golf swing philosophy that can determine whether a golfer should straighten/flatten the right wrist through impact and it states that it should occur when using a full roll hand release action, and there is a swing philosophy that also determines whether a golfer should have a bent right wrist through impact and that occurs with a non-roll hand release action. Understanding, and explaining that difference in simple prose language is possible if a golf instructor really understands golf swing mechanics/biomechanics.
BM also wrote-: " Most golfers STILL need to square the clubface, and there is still a gamma (twist) component. How many teacher's even know this exists?"
A gamma twist component!!! Have you ever heard of that term? He asks - "how many teachers even know that exists"? I would respond by asking BM to explain the difference between that component and the biomechanics underlying the release of PA#3? Don't expect an answer any time soon!
BM also wrote-: "What the "release" thread era has made oh so clear is this:
The most important decision you will make picking a golf instructor is making sure they customize everything.
And can."
I can mentally picture the Italian Stallion beating his breast and chanting "Come to ME - I can custom design your golf swing for $$$". What I cannot mentally picture is him providing a rational explanation of the underlying mechanics/biomechanics.
Danny's post nicely summarizes the value of BM's original post when he stated -: "Yeah, good post. (for the sheep)".
