The cocking/uncocking motion, the key wrist motion in the double- and triple- pendulum swing models, must be replaced with the anatomically correct wrist deviation (ulnar/radial) and forearm pronation/supination."
That conclusion is obvious to me. However, Nesbit never included the left forearm/pronation component in 3-D space in his inverse dynamics computer model, while SMK did achieve that goal in his forward dynamics computer model.
I have a different definition of a swingplane that is based on HK's on-plane definition - as reflecting the on-plane alignment of the club (peripheral end of the club always points at the ball-target line) even when the clubshaft changes planes. This swingplane concept is not discussed/evaluated in the Kwon paper.

nmg,
You wrote-: "Nesbit has the forearm pronation d.o.f. What he does not have is a force/torque actuator for it. MacKinzie lacks a whole bunch of d.o.f. and is a planar model. Its totally inadequate. Nesbit's is the best yet."
You are free to harbor those personal opinions, but I much prefer to stick to my personal opinions, which are not compatible with your personal opinions.
My opinions re: golf swing mechanics/biomechanics have been influenced to only a very small degree by any computer model (including SMK's forward dynamics computer model). I find all these computer modelling ideas too rudimentary and too incomplete to be of any significant value.

nmg,
Any forum member who has been around for awhile knows your position (personal opinions) regarding this issue. Why do you keep on re-iterating them again-and-again? They do not acquire greater legitimacy as a result of frequent repetition.
