Video does't meausre or calculate anything and you keep ignoring that fact. You rail against Tman's calculation but somehow your "calculations" are fine. Can't wait for your findings. Do not put out preliminary findings to test how everyone will challenge your findings. Man up and put it all out at once so there's no backtracking. Video gives no numbers and a look isn't that helpful unless your impact is so bad that an image is necessary. I suspect you are at the point where you need video of impact to improve. I don't. Of cousre, I spend time playing golf and not trying to figure out how these machines are made. You need numbers, not looks, for good players when referencing impact. A radar doesn't measure or calculate anything, nor does a sensor-based 3D system. You keep ignoring that fact! No I don't. I know calculations are necessary. But you can use video without any calculations and good luck with just a look. This is another ridiculous statement that tries to change the debate. You rail against Tman's unknown calculations but your calculations are going to be correct. Man up and post final findings so you don't backtrack. You aren't that hard to figure out. You'll put out preliminary findings, wait for challenges, put out new findings to try to deal with the challenges so that your findings are correct.

Jeffy - Who ever said you need these devices to become a great golfer? Another ridiculous implication. These devices are tools that allow one to cut down on practice time and be more efficient. They only tell what and don't guarantee anything. You have no idea who to score in competition Jeffy. You're a range player. There's more to golf than just technique. You have to understand what works for you, not someone else. You don't understand that fact. You've never broken 70 and yet you know more than I do in how to play the game? Give me a break. Typical Monday morning quarterback statement to make yourself feel good. I have a very good record in competition and know all about how there is more than technique, blah, blah, blah. Why do guys like you think that's such a mystery? The only time I ever played as much as you probably do was the summer 1975, when I was already 20, when I had a low score of 73 with three or four three putts. Your local country club match isn't competition. Ever hear of the Monroe? I doubt it.

More ignoring the issues or creating staw man arguments. You just don't have good numbers on Trackman. That's the reality. The problem isn't the machine, it's the user.

I won because my putting and driving was just as good or better on the last 6 holes as it was on the first twelve. That's understanding how to win matches. You have just competed more than I have. Doesn't mean you compete as well, let alone better.

You've never traveled outside of your home state to play others. I have many times. You have no idea whether you can compete at a higher level because you compete against the same people. What a great way to protect a golfing ego. Keep the competition the same and never play in better tournaments. You're range player. Just accept that and move on. Your posts would make a lot more sense.

Huh? Talk about strawmen... Post your best player player! I don't understand... Do you mean who is the best golfer in the world right now? Although the World Golf Rankings are probably biased in favor of the Europeans, I think McIlroy deserves the nod. That's not a very tough question! If you mean what golfer had the best career, that would be Jack. If you want to know who played the best golf during a competitive stretch, I'd say Ben Hogan from June 1948 through January 1949 and Tiger during the "Tiger Slam" era. Trevino in 1971 and 1972 might deserve "Honorable Mention", as would Hogan's 1953 season, and Jones's "Grand Slam"...

The thing that makes me wonder about Dariusz is why he continues to post at Manzella's and put up with the widespread, knee-jerk hostility towards him and anything he posts. That he bothered to come over here to bitch about Mann's post (that only 19 people will ever see) yet stays put over there to be regularly humiliated before thousands is puzzling, to say the least. First, it was like this before when I also was not always fair and nice; now it is like it should be. Secondly, because it was Brain who helped me the most with my game when I was looking for help long ago, thus, I have a huge sentiment to the man. Thirdly, because there is a group of knowledgeable people with a sense of humour there. And I came here because I found that a guy whom I did nothing bad in the past and never had an axe to grind with titled a thread with "Idiocy of Dariusz" and did it behind my back ! If he call me "idiot" in a hot exchange of arguments, I wouldn't have paid so much attention since many people used to use ad hominem attacks on myself as well as I called people names many times. But he did it publicly and behind my back ! Last but not least, Cwdlaw223 is right that I am agreeable and ready for admitting I was wrong if I am convinced by the strength of arguments, especially now when I am at learning mode. It is not a problem for me also to express apologizes if the situation requires it (and it happens taking into account my character). Is this explanation enough for you, Jeffy ? As you can see, I never had, never have and never will have anything to hide.Cheers Yep, but I don't understand the "nothing to hide" closing...

You seem to have all of the answers so you should be able to light it up. You won't and therefore, you'll question the machine. That's what people do when faced with truth.

You just can't stop making things up. The plan to test Trackman data with the Phantom had absolutely nothing to do with my experience with the machine! How do you come up with such nonsense? Is that why the University of Loughborough is verifying Trackman data in their impact research, because the program dean didn't like his Trackman numbers? You're incredible. BTW, Flightscope has already reported that Trackman's AoA data is consistently off by 3.4 to 6 degrees based on Phantom testing. And everyone knows the clubface angle calculation is just a guess and that a lot of Trackman users think those readings are screwy. And they're right!

Remember the special post that BM started to discuss Dariusz ideas and it just became a way for everyone to dump on him, think it was finally deleted. I felt that was unfair.

Also just because a teacher is in one camp or another does not always mean they believe all the ideas in that camp, heck maybe not even the majority of the ideas. There is a monetary component at play here.
