BM's capacity for wrong-headed assertions re: golf swing mechanics/biomechanics is endless.
Here he is making many wrong-headed claims regarding PHil Mickelson's swing - perceived as a righty.

1) At 1:25 minutes, BM states that PM rotates his left arm more than usual in his backswing action. That's nonsense! PM has a neutral left hand grip, and he rotates his intact LAFW/FLW by the appropriate amount to get his clubshaft on his selected backswing's inclined plane.
2) At 1:40 minutes, BM implies that PM has a "high" backswing. That's incorrect! PM's left arm is only slightly higher than his shoulder turn angle at his end-backswing position. Although PM over-swings and gets across the line at his end-backswing position - he still has a FLW and intact LAFW.
3) BM claims that PM drops his hands really low in his early downswing. That's nonsense! PM drops his hands down the TSP from P4 and P5 (and that's not a low hand motion) and his clubshaft cuts across his right shoulder area because it takes time for his clubshaft to get to his right shoulder area - considering the fact that he has over-swung during his backswing action. Nonetheless, he still has a FLW and intact LAFW during that time period.
4) At 3 minutes BM claims that PM gets his clubhead "really high". It is not unusually high, considering the fact that his clubhead arc between P4 and P5 must be higher if you are coming down the TSP between P4 and P5. The grip end of his club has not "gone down low" as BM suggests - the grip end of his club and hands are coming down the TSP between P4 and P5 (see image 2 and 3 in my forthcoming PM sequence)
5) At 3:23 minutes, BM incorrectly infers that PM has more "width" and that he is now getting his clubshaft to be above his right forearm at the P5.5 position as a result of Butch Harmon's teaching. Both statements are factually incorrect.
In what sense is his swing "wider" between P4 and P5.5? He is not using an out-toss maneuver. Also, he has always come down the TSP in his pre-Butch era, and that means that his clubshaft was always above his rear forearm in his mid-downswing.
These capture images are from a swing video from many years ago - long before Butch Harmon started to teach PM. Note how his hands are coming down the TSP in image 3 & 4 and note that his clubshaft is higher than his rear forearm in image 4 (P5.5 position).
6) At 4 minutes, BM describes what he regards as PM's "signature move". He incorrectly claims that PM is "turning down his left wrist" and BM demonstrates a very arched/bowed left wrist. That over-arching phenomenon doesn't happen in PM"s swing. He doesn't over-arch his left wrist between P6 and P7, and PM has an anatomically flat left wrist (and not an overtly bowed left wrist) at impact.
BM correctly states that PM rotates his FLW counterclockwise a lot after impact and that represents PM's roller release action, which I think is his major swing fault that predisposes him to frequently hitting pull-hooked shots with his driver.
Here is my animated gif showing PM"s roller release action.
Note that PM has an AFLW through impact, and not a bowed left wrist (as BM claims). He performs his roll motion far too soon after impact and he should delay the roll motion of his full-roll hand release action (like Dustin Johnson) if wants to decrease the frequency of pull-hooked drives.
7) At 5:23 minutes and 5:40 minutes during his "summary", BM describes an "off-the-shoulder" action and note that he straightens his right elbow in that action using a BM out-toss maneuver that moves his hands away from the target, and away from his right shoulder. PM never uses that out-toss maneuver, and PM keeps the bend in his rear elbow unchanged between P4 and P5.5 - see images 1,2 and 3 in my PM capture image sequence above.
