See this BM-forum thread started by a BM groupie who believes he has a "reverse shoulder tilt" problem. www.brianmanzella.com/golfing-discussions/18106-help-reverse-shoulder-tilt.htmlHere is a copy of his P4 position image. That is not a "reverse shoulder tilt" which is secondary to an exaggerated arch-extension maneuver (which is usually used by S&T golfers) and that results in a leftwards-centralised (reverse pivoting) backswing action. This golfer is simply rotating his shoulders more than 90 degrees and thereby torquing his upper thoracic spine slightly leftwards. It is not a swing fault, and it will automatically self-correct when he starts his downswing action (when he starts to unwind his upper torso and when he starts to rotate his upper torso counterclockwise between P4 and P5). It doesn't mean that he has to take a shorter backswing - if he can biomechanically control his golf swing's pivot motion in a fluid/efficient manner during his downswing action. Jeff.
