This is BM's latest golf.com weekly video. www.golf.com/video/big-play-hit-it-crisp-kucharI now increasingly believe that BM is becoming a terrible influence in the golf-tip industry. He makes wild generalized claims based on certain features of a particular golfer's swing action. In this example, he is focusing his attention on the degree of clubface closure at the P2/P6 position, and he is advising golfers to have a more closed clubface at those two positions. However, developing golfers (with very limited knowledge re: golf swing mechanics/biomechanics) don't understand that this may be acceptable in golfers who use a Hardy 1PS swing technique, but not appropriate for TGM swingers who use a takeaway swivel action to lay the intact LAFW onto the surface of the inclined plane between P2 and P4. Every week he provides "isolated" golf tips that cannot be clearly understood when presented out of the context of a coherent swing philosophy, and he is increasingly producing a multiplicity of incoherent/contradictory golf tips. This represents a major disservice to the world of amateur golfers. I am not surprised that golf instructors are held in great disdain by many golfers, who think of of them as being snake-oil salesman, who will do anything for a buck or celebrity status! Jeff.

In order to stay in the top 100's which allow you to keep posting articles in the magazine you must produce content, period. I would imagine BM is very popular with them because he probably produces more content then most of the top 100.
I hate golf magizine tips in general and I think they are hazerdous for all golfers regardless of the teacher posting.
